So I am one of "those" women that used the ovulation strips twice a day and took my basal temp ever morning! Then I started taking pregnancy test every 4 to 5 days or so after I had ovulated. Everything had to run according to the calendar. All you think about is getting pregnant and you would not believe how many times you hear "so...how is everything going?" from your friends and family. It can be stressful! There was several times that I was in tears thinking that I may have missed my "fertile window". Also, I hated it when people would tell me that it would happen when it was suppose to! Then that would lead me into the whole story that I only had a certain amount of time to get pregnant before a doctor would tell me to stop. It was really complicated! Be ready to tell your doctors if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant. Also I had to give quite detailed information to my doctors about EVERYTHING! Not fun when you are suppose to "just have fun!" It doesn't work that way when you have a disorder like Cystinosis or if you have had a major surgery like a kidney transplant. EVERYTHING has to be planed out!
So update on baby! Baby Nilla is ahead of development for it's age and is looking more like a real baby every ultrasound. We are 11 weeks and 5 days! But Nilla is jumping around and ahead of schedule at 12 weeks 2 days! This better not mean I am vaginally delivering a 10 pound baby! I have noticed that everyone has their own opinion on how you should deliver and if you should or shouldn't have drug and what kind of drugs are OK! That is partial my fault for asking. LOL! We are not sure if we are going to find out what Nilla's gender is going to be. At about 2.5 inches I may be feeling some random movement, but am not going to believe it until I know for sure. I did have a 5 centimeters cyst that is down to about 2. That may have been what was causing some of my 'Baby Pooch' before.
So excited for you and this miracle babe!
ReplyDeleteHello fellow blogger! I lost service in the middle of our convo the other day, member that? lol. We just realized you are from kirksville, MO aren't you? Have you heard of Lakeroad Chapel? We have really been following some the men and pastors over there, great men of God and we are hoping to make it over there atleast once a month or so to go to church.
